Pre-report estimates were released for cattle on feed yesterday. Analysts formulated projections to unanimously draw down the Cattle on Feed number which is expected out this Friday.
The average cattle on feed number expected is 98.3% with a range of 97.9-99.1% of a year ago.
Placed on feed is expected to decline somewhat sharply with average analyst estimations at 96.3% of last year and a range of 94.6-100.0% of 2021.
Marketings are expected to be less than 1% higher than last year, and the range was 100.5-101.7% of 2021.
